We have 2 state-licensed child care centers to accommodate you: one is for Infants, Toddlers, Pre-K and School-Aged children and one is our Preschool Building. These buildings are side by side for a one stop convenience. We are able to provide top quality care for up to 70 children with both of these buildings together. We are licensed and certified by the state of Idaho, our child care centers are also in the QRIS program, which you may learn more about from our links page. Everyone on the staff of is CPR and Pediatric First Aid certified, has had a criminal background check, and are Members in the IdahoStars program. Each Teacher has or is working toward their CDA. We offer a discount to all military families*. 

 Butterflies & Dragonflies Learning Center & Child Care was established February 4, 2004, by Shauna Cummings. The dream behind Butterflies & Dragonflies was to have a safe and caring place for parents to leave their children while they went to work, and a place that they didn’t have to worry about who was taking care of their children. Shauna wanted to have a facility that was teaching children of all ages from infants to school age. She came up with Butterflies & Dragonflies for the simple fact that the Girls are Butterflies and Boys are Dragonflies. Shauna is proud that the facility is a learning center, not just a daycare center.  In July 2004, Deana Cabrera joined her in this dream As one of her Lead Teachers,  becoming her Director in 2008. Together, They strive hard every day to Be the best Facility in the Canyon County Area.
